Fox tricks Puddles and KaWally into giving him their apples and pears by pretending to make a fair trade. He offers them each one red apple and distracts them while stealing both of their full sacks of fruit. As he leaves, KaWally realizes the deception, and he and Puddles chase after him. They catch up just in time to stop Fox from cheating Bru out of honey pots. With Bru's help, they stop Fox, who tries to flee. The friends make sure not to keep anything they didn’t earn, teaching both Fox—and themselves—a valuable lesson about honesty and fairness.
