The Greeks loved tales of gods and heroes, and Hercules was their favorite. Born with superhuman strength, Hercules was targeted by the jealous goddess Hera, who feared his power. Despite her many attempts to destroy him, including sending serpents and deceptive dreams, Hercules triumphed. Tasked with retrieving golden apples from Hera’s secret garden, he battled monsters, freed the chained Titan Prometheus, and outsmarted Atlas to complete his quest. Returning home, he married the Princess of Thebes and cleverly sent the apples back to the gods. In the end, even Hera’s mischief couldn’t stop Hercules from achieving greatness.
